Last weekend was phenomenal in so many ways. I spent a girls’ weekend at Animal Kingdom Lodge with girlfriends at one of my favorite vacation spots, Walt Disney World. We laughed and walked and took photos and ate and walked some more! Seriously, my phone says on one day we logged over 10 miles!
Last Friday, we hit Hollywood Studios for some Fastpass+ attractions like Toy Story Mania, Star Tours, and the new to us Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. While waiting for the sing along to start, I was fiddling around on my phone when I heard the familiar “PING” that meant “You’ve got mail.” I opened my Inbox to find the most pixie dusted email. The banner looked like this:

You’re Invited…
To the Most Magical Social Media Conference of the Year!
The 2015 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration!
I gasped in shock! I practically bounced in my seat as I showed my friend Ashlee the email. Sweet friend that she is, she was as giddy with excitement as I was! I would love to say that I had such confidence in my blog that I understood the invite, but actually I am quite flabbergasted. (Gobsmacked for my UK friends) It gives me such a boost of energy and enthusiasm for my blogging, so I am very grateful for that. I have never been to a Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, so this will be a very sweet treat! Judging by the Disney On the Road event that I attended in Charlotte in 2012, this social media conference will be chock full of great speakers, fellow bloggers, and tons of Disney knowledge. It’s like a fairy tale dream come true (which is why I’m beaming from ear to ear in the Cinderella coach photo!)
And then the sing along started. It was jam-packed with the Frozen songs, a funny duo who kept us in stitches, and cool set and special effects. OK, so maybe my view of the show is colored by the wonderful email I got just prior, but who cares? I never sang “Let It Go” with such gusto!
So you’ll be seeing lots more posts on this, but I just had to share the good news here so you would be warned! (Shocking I know-me writing more about Disney!)
