My guilty pleasure on a Disney cruise? Getting a Rainforest Pass at the Senses Spa, which is really a steal! The pass gives you unlimited entry to the scented showers, aroma steam, sauna rooms, private jacuzzi, and the coveted warm loungers, an area off limits to other spa guests. Whether a 1-Day pass or the length of your sailing, the Rainforest Pass sets guests on a sail for serenity and calm as part of their Senses Spa and Salon experience.
Ever notice that “SPA” it is phonetically spelled Sp-AAAHH? How appropriate! Enjoying the spa is one of the most relaxing activities you can find on Disney Cruise Line. I have a new favorite spa selection: the Rainforest, a members-only access area with jacuzzis, heated loungers, sauna, and showers. Makes you feel like a spa VIP and a surefire way to chill after an excursion-filled day. Here are all the details about the Rainforest and why it’s my Disney Cruise Line splurge.
The Rainforest on Disney Cruise Line
I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news? Disney Cruise Line has a Senses Spa on all four of its ships, including a Rainforest. Score! The bad news: there are a limited number of these passes available, so if you want one, jump all over it! Best time would be before the Senses Spa Open House because they will be hyping the Rainforest amenities and are sure to sell out.
The Rainforest is not detailed on the Disney Cruise Line website, so many first time cruisers and even those who have cruised Disney before might not even know about it. That is why I find it is my civic cruising duty to tell you how awesome it is!
For pre-planner types, you can pre-purchase a day pass online while available for $ 16 a day. However, I highly recommend a length of cruise pass because it will encourage you to slow down and unwind.
Tip: Get a Rainforest Room pass on the very first day of your cruise because there are a limited number and they WILL sell out. In hindsight, I can say that I liked it even better than a single spa treatment. Probably because I could spread it out over several days instead of a few hours.

The Rainforest pass has the following amenities that can only be used by passholders:
Tropical Showers with multiple “rain” programs (so relaxing)

Summary: The Rain Forest pass is ideal for girlfriends who are planning on chatting together while they lounge. I ended up using the showers at the spa more than in our cabin, which was preferable to me because the spa showers are much bigger and more luxurious when paired with the sauna/steam room/jets.
My favorite spot had to be the hot stone loungers. I could have stayed on those all day!
